This Privacy Policy explains how SVKT Tools ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the SVKT - AI YouTube Creator Tools Chrome extension ("the Extension").
1. Who We Are
SVKT Tools is a Chrome extension for YouTube content creators, available on the Chrome Web Store. The Extension is operated independently and is not affiliated with Google LLC or YouTube.

2. Information We Collect
The Extension requests access to your Google Account via OAuth 2.0 to provide its core features. We request the following scopes:

3. How We Use Your Data
All data accessed through the Google APIs above is used exclusively to provide the Extension's features to you. Specifically:
- Your Google profile information is used to identify you and display your account details within the extension.
- Your YouTube channel data is displayed in the Channel Statistics panel and top bar.
- Your video metadata and analytics are displayed in the Studio Video Analysis panel.
- No data is processed for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond direct in-extension display.
4. Data Storage and Retention
We do not store your YouTube data or analytics on our servers. All API calls are made directly from your browser to Google's APIs.
The only data we store is:
- Your Firebase Authentication account (email address and display name) — used solely to manage your membership tier (free/premium).
- Your activation code redemption record, stored in Firebase Firestore.
- OAuth tokens are stored locally in your browser's extension storage and are never transmitted to our servers.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data or Google Account data with any third party. The only third-party service we use is:
- Google Firebase — for authentication and account management. Firebase is operated by Google LLC and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Data Security
All communications between the Extension and Google APIs use HTTPS. OAuth tokens are stored locally in your browser and are not accessible to external parties. Firebase access is protected by security rules that restrict data access to the authenticated user only.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You can revoke the Extension's access to your Google Account at any time by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions and removing SVKT Tools.
You can sign out from within the extension at any time using the account popup.

8. Children's Privacy
The Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
